- Second generation of Dimense media with a gold-coloured topcoat: DS-GOLDM. The surface is more matt.
- The embossing heating for DS-GOLDM is 20–25°C lower compared to the previous version but requires more heat compared to standard media. Please ensure you use the right media profile.
- Advantages: less heat reflection in the printer in production, resulting in more predictable output.
- Easier calendar calibration & stable embossing / lower risk of overheating dark areas
- No need for an infrared absorptive layer in design files
- Less discoloration on light colours / Smoother embossed surface
- Only for use with Dimense printers
